Getting off the beaten track does not mean roughing it, at least not with The Jones Party. For the past twenty years we have specialized in unique adventure travel with a twist, smaller group sizes, more personalized itineraries and a bit of local education as we explore the world.
Teaming up with local providers, we build unique adventures that go beyond fancy hotels and packed tourist buses. Lodging in smaller boutique hotels, 5 star camps and lodges, we stay in the middle of where we want to be, not hours from it by motorcoach.
Whether we are driving our own 4x4’s along Namibia’s Skeleton Coast, tasting wine in South Africa's Cape Region, on safari in Botswana or exploring Australia’s rugged outback, our adventures are unique, fun and educational. Your time with us will be magical and create memories that will last a lifetime.
For a classic African safari experience, look no further than Botswana’s world-renowned Game Reserves, a region well known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities.
The magic of Botswana is its timelessness. With the exception of deluxe ensuite deluxe tents, modern Land-Rovers and custom bush planes, our game-viewing and camp experiences are much like they were a hundred years ago. I often feel like a British Lord being provided that ultra plush safari experience.
For those like myself, who enjoy driving, Namibia offers fun and at times, slightly challenging conditions (80% of their roads are gravel.) Namibia is an ancient land, you can feel its age as the landscape glides by during our journey.
Although the greatest concentrations of wildlife will be in the Etosha National Park, we will start seeing animals as soon as we leave the international airport and head toward Windhoek. Namibia is a vast and beautiful country, self-driving is by far the best way to experience it’s many and vast wonders.
This four night, three day excursion is a wonderful conclusion to our Botswana safari or a great way to start our Namibia self-drive adventure.
Explore South Africa's Cape Region. Two full day tours are included; the scenic coastal tour to Cape Point and a day in the wine country. Evenings are free to eat, drink and shop at 'The wharf' a bustling water front complex.
Finish off with a free day to explore at your leisure. Boat out to Robin Island, hike the botanical gardens or ride to the top of Table Mountain.
